NearbyNow (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the NearbyNow Android application (“App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

1) Information We Collect

2) How We Use Your Information

• Provide and operate the core NearbyNow service.
• Show nearby professionals based on location.
• Improve performance, fix issues, and ensure security.
• Show ratings and reviews to maintain quality.

3) Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information. We only share information with:

• Service providers (only if required) such as hosting/database infrastructure.
• Professionals you contact to process your service request (e.g., name or phone).
• Legal authorities if required by law.

4) Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as needed to operate the service, comply with the law, or resolve disputes. When data is no longer required, it is deleted or anonymized.

5) Your Rights

• Change or update your profile information in the App.
• Disable location permission from phone settings.
• Delete your account and personal data (see below).

6) Account & Data Deletion Flow

You can delete your NearbyNow account and all associated personal data directly from within the App. This is required by Google Play and we fully support user-controlled deletion.

Steps to delete your account from the App:

• Open the NearbyNow App.
• Go to Profile → Delete Account permanently.
• Verify your phone number with an OTP (One-Time Password) to confirm ownership.
• Once confirmed, all personal data such as name, phone, address, location history, and profile will be permanently deleted from our servers.
• Your ratings/reviews may be anonymized (shown as “Deleted User”) to maintain platform safety and prevent manipulation.

If you are unable to access the app:

You can request deletion by emailing us from your registered phone number or email. We will verify identity manually to prevent unauthorized deletion.

7) Children

NearbyNow is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8) Security

We use reasonable and industry-standard safeguards to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure.

9) Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy. If we make significant changes, we will notify users in the App and update the "Last updated" date.
